From what I've heard, Primal sounds a lot lazier than Far Cry 4. Four gave you a new map, a new story, new animals, some that you could apparently even ride. Primal is differentiated mostly by what it takes away.
It won’t surprise anyone that Primal takes place on a great big world map full of human and wildlife AI who interact violently whenever you’re around to see it. The thirds being, roughly, the 3 biomes present in the map - the southern and central wooded areas, the eastern grasslands, and the northern snowy hills. The central forests feel a little too densely packed, but the rest of the map feels suitably sparse with the outposts and bonfires suitably distributed.
