Hey so I've been trying to install my old HP and the Chamber of Secrets on my 32bit Windows Vista laptop and whenever I select Direct3D as the renderer it makes the textures flicker like crazy, specially moving objects, I can lower the screen resolution and the graphics but it doesn't solve the issue, however whenever I select software renderer the textures do not flicker instead they tend to

Chamber of Secrets on the PC was one of my favorite games as a kid. As silly as it sounds, it's one of the games that got me into PC games (along with Jimmy Neutron vs Jimmy Negatron ). Also the part where you find the petrified Nearly Headless Nick scared the crap out of me as a kid.

In the My Documents folder there are folders for the harry potter games, in there you find .ini files you can open with Notepad (if double-clicking doesn't work, try opening notepad first, then File > Open > all file extensions) under [WinDrv.WindowsClient] you can alter these (HP1 > HP.ini - HP2 > Game.ini- HP3 > Hppoa.ini) I'm re-reading harry potter and the chamber of secrets, harry and Ron have just figured out about the basilik they then said the "door" to the chamber is in moaning myrtle's toilet. However in the game the chamber is in a toilet near the slytherin's common room while moaning myrtle's toilet is closer to one of the towers is the game wrong? TTPemx.
